Laki Play continues to strengthen its support for grassroots basketball through its Court Revival initiative, bringing refreshed basketball spaces to communities across Luzon.
The initiative focuses on giving existing community courts a renewed look through updated court designs, basketball-inspired visuals, and improvements that help make these spaces more engaging for local players and residents.
Laki Play’s Court Revival initiative has already reached several communities, including Brgy. 113 in Caloocan, Brgy. 128 in Pasay, Brgy. Calawitan, Brgy. Magmarale, Brgy. Salapungan, Parañaque, and the KQ Court in Muntinlupa.
Each location is part of Laki Play’s continuing effort to refresh community basketball spaces and create courts that local players and residents can continue to use for games, tournaments, and community activities.
For Laki Play, supporting basketball goes beyond the professional level.
Many Filipino players develop their love for the game through neighborhood courts, barangay leagues, community tournaments, and casual games with friends. These local courts are where players practice, compete, and build connections within their communities.
Through the Court Revival initiative, Laki Play aims to support these grassroots spaces by giving existing courts a fresh identity while preserving their role as accessible venues for basketball and community activities.
The goal is not only to improve how the courts look, but also to help create spaces that communities can continue to enjoy and make their own.
A refreshed basketball court can support more than just regular games.
It can serve as a venue for barangay tournaments, basketball clinics, community events, local activities, and other programs that encourage people to come together.
For young players, it can be a place to practice and develop their skills. For local teams, it can become a familiar venue for competition. For residents, it can remain a shared community space where people can watch, participate, and connect.
By improving these spaces, Laki Play hopes to help bring more energy back to local courts and encourage more people to enjoy basketball within their own communities.
As the Court Revival initiative continues to grow, Laki Play aims to reach more basketball courts and communities across Luzon.
Working with local partners and communities, the initiative can continue identifying courts that could benefit from a refreshed look and renewed energy.
In the future, Laki Play also sees the opportunity to expand the Court Revival initiative to other provinces across the Philippines, allowing more local basketball communities to become part of the program.
Each new court represents another opportunity to support the places where Filipino basketball culture continues to grow.
The Court Revival initiative forms part of Laki Play’s continued support for local sports and basketball communities.
By investing in the spaces where people actually play, train, compete, and gather, Laki Play aims to strengthen its connection with grassroots basketball and contribute to the communities that continue to keep the sport active.
From Caloocan and Pasay to Parañaque, Muntinlupa, and other communities, Laki Play continues to bring new energy to local basketball courts.
And as the initiative moves forward, the goal remains the same: to support the game from the ground up and help more communities enjoy basketball in spaces they can proudly call their own.
Laki Play — supporting local basketball, one court and one community at a time.
